STAFF

Our counselors are chosen on the basis of personal warmth and their ability to understand and care for each individual child.

CURRICULUM

Our camp program is designed to give each child exciting, fun filled exposure to a host of activities from sports to art, music and drama. Some of San Antonio's finest artists, crafts people and sports specialists will serve as instructors in order to provide the maximum variety of activities and to appeal to the widest of interests.

CULTURE

The campers of Gan Israel are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their heritage and a profound love for the land of Israel. Weekend Shabbatons, stories, contests, challah baking and group discussions are some of the Judaic experiences through which the beauty and values of our traditions are brought vividly to life.

GROUP PLACEMENT

All campers at Gan Israel are divided into age groups for individualized attention and supervision. An average group consists of eight to ten campers. Under the guidance of their counselor, the children of the group work together as a team, and learn the value of friendship and unity.
